Beyond his live performances, mixtapes and dedicated podcast listenership, Wristpect built a loyal following via commercial radio on Toronto’s FLOW 93.5 FM [Mixology Show Saturday Nights 9-10pm]. He has also lectured & performed at university/college ‘music & pop culture’ courses, and was a featured instructor at Canada’s only DJ School, ‘Scratchlab DJ Institute’. Wristpect's talent, dedication, and hard work have not gone unrecognized; he was recently awarded Fan Choice DJ of the Year (presented by Pioneer DJ), as well as Toronto DJ of the Year (presented by Blackberry) at the 2011 Stylus DJ Awards. Over the past two years, he has also received accolades such as ‘Canadian Club DJ of the Year’, ‘Toronto DJ of the Year’, and ‘Mixtape of the Year’.
