What is Dubset?
Dubset is the first legal, completely proprietary, streaming media web property to feature live recorded full length mixes on ‘radio stations’ created by some of the biggest club DJs in the world. Dubset, a social networking platform, emphasizing DJs and their music, allows DJs to showcase their mixes to the masses in a cutting edge, exclusive, and tasteful manner.
How does Dubset work?
Dubset's user interface is very simple, allowing DJs to login, create a profile, and post live club mixes on their own page in fewer than ten minutes. Within the functionality of each DJs profile page, he/she will be able to update and post upcoming events/schedules, pictures, music, view and manage comments left by fans, receive booking requests, view number of visits in real time and from what location users are accessing the DJs page and music.
Who is Dubset?
The principal officers of Dubset.com have many years of experience in the key areas of business including; web development, programming, streaming media, law, marketing, management, music and DJing. They acknowledge that the current marketplace suffers from the lack of a central hub where fans can access top quality, high-end DJ mixes.
The lack of a central website for this specific industry has hurt the credibility of DJs, limited their exposure and ultimately, put a cap on their revenue from the music community. This has caused various smaller underground websites to attempt to provide this digital content illegally, and with no benefits to anyone. In short, all DJ mixes that float around the internet do not generate revenue for any of the publishers, copyright holders, or the DJs.
What’s our goal?
In addition to offering all of the above for free to DJs, top tier DJs will be paid a residual every time their content is streamed with the premium service. For the first time ever, this will create a completely new and unique revenue stream for DJs. For years, DJs revenues have been limited to getting paid to play records at clubs. DJs are true artists that create a piece of art every time they get behind the turntables, and we believe they should be compensated as such.
DJs will have the ability to use this platform to reach a much larger audience, expand their fan base and create greater value for themselves and their public performances. The goal of this project is to establish those innovative DJs as true artists and bring music industry credibility to the DJ world.

Having trouble listening to your mix?
Some General Suggestions that may help:
- Are you listening over a wireless connection? If so, try it over a wired connection.
- Are you running any bandwidth-intensive applications on your computer (i.e. BitTorrent, Limewire, other sources of downloading, internet phone services such as Skype or Vonage)? If so, pause these applications while streaming Dubset mixes.
- Are you sharing an internet connection with other people? If so, check to see if they are using any bandwidth-intensive operations.
Search Tips…
You can search for DJ's, mixes, and events on Dubset by using titles and keywords. You can also discover new mixes and DJs by searching the different music genres on the site.
