Dave Stein - Founder & CEO
(@DavidxStein)David Stein could be described as a “nightlife impresario” or “tastemaker,” but those terms seem fleeting and do not define a person who has the desire to continue the legacy of DJ culture. David grew up in Brooklyn, New York, and developed a deep curiosity about the bright lights and unrelenting bass of club life in Manhattan. He began promoting for a few lounges when he was in High School and quickly worked his way up to filling the trendiest clubs. He gained respect in the community as he spent years promoting the most exclusive events. In 2005, David became Creative Director of Stereo nightclub. During this time, he started one of the most notorious Wednesday night parties with a little help from some of his friends such as The Misshapes, Charlotte Ronson, Chrissie Miller, A-Ron and Roxy Cottontail. He booked DJs like Diplo and Steve Aoki before they gained world-class fame. Earlier in his career, David studied International Marketing and Business. Everything he picked up along the way would help him found Hi-Fi marketing in 2006. This venture led him to produce dozens of high profile events all over the country, including full multi-city concerts and the official Heineken after-parties for the Latin Grammy Awards. A few years ago, David had an idea that everyone should have access to the best music from the best DJs in the world. All they would need is an internet connection to engage with some of the most exclusive DJs around. That idea is Dubset.com.
Michael Wensul - Co-Founder, CTO
(@wentsul)Princeton Alum, Varsity lacrosse champion, avid snowboarder, and Ruby on Rails Guru. Michael joined Dubset shortly after its inception and has been integral in its growth and development. As the lead architect and developer he oversees all aspects of the Dubset.com platform and its future expansion.
Charlie Robbins - Technology Director
(@indexzero)Charlie began his career working at Microsoft at age 19. Since then, he has worked as a senior software engineer at more than half a dozen Fortune 500 companies including large financial institutions. He has experience consulting and advising both small and large businesses on architecture, technology, recruiting, and long-term strategy. He is a proponent of open source software and an evangelist for node.js. Charlie received his BE in Software Engineering from McGill University and is currently a Masters candidate in Computer Science at Columbia University.
Mimi O Chun - Design Advisor
(@mimiochun)Mimi collaborates with the Dubset team on design-related content including brand and product design, while maintaining her post as design director at General Assembly, an urban campus for entrepreneurs seeking to transform industry and culture through technology and design. Mimi has held senior and director-level positions at various consultancies including her most recent tenure as the design lead in the New York office of IDEO, where she helped companies articulate ideas and opportunities through all phases of a program, from the initial expression of a strategic vision through concept development to consumer touchpoints that live in the world. Mimi received her BFA from Carnegie Mellon University and her MFA from Yale University, and currently serves on the board of the NY chapter of the AIGA.
Janessa Det - Front-End Web Developer
(@janwdet)Constantly torn between her three loves, graphic design, coding, and electronic music, Janessa found herself happily at home at Dubset, where she could indulge in all of the above. She is currently a Master's candidate at Columbia University earning her degree in Computer Science, with a focus in Graphics, Vision, and User Interfaces. At Dubset, she works as a front-end developer, translating template designs into architected, interactive web applications that make up Dubset 2.0.

Felix has produced multiple worldwide club hits including ‘Silver Screen (Shower Scene)’ (also a top 40 hit on the UK pop charts), ‘Elvi$’, ‘Kickdrum’, ‘Madame Hollywood’, ‘Radio’, ‘Something For Porno’, ‘Watching Cars Go By’, ‘Jack U’, ‘My Life Muzik’, ‘Tweak’, ‘The Harlot’, ‘What Does It Feel Like’, ‘In Thee Dark We Live’, ‘Cry Baby’, and ‘Phantasy Girl’. Jessica Rosenblum
(@Jrosenblum1)Born and raised in New York City, Rosenblum gained insight into her talent for perfecting a party vibe while working the door at the legendary NYC nightclub Nell’s making it one of the toughest doors to get past. So much so she inspired the nightclub door person character in “Bright Lights, Big City”. During that time she also developed a working relationship with Sean “P. Diddy” Combs, which continued for 20 years, with Rosenblum working on the majority of P. Diddy and Bad Boy Worldwide’s East Coast events. Rosenblum also managed artists for a period of time, establishing the career of NYC celebrity DJ and MTV host Funkmaster Flex (Hot 97.1), creating the legendary DJ crew; The Flip Squad which counted DJ Enuff, Biz Markie, Mark Ronson and Doo Wop amongst it’s members. A staple in the NY nightlife scene, Mademoiselle, Interview, Harper’s Bazaar, Details, Vanity Fair, In Fashion and New York magazines have all interviewed Rosenblum to obtain her perspective. Rosenblum has worked with the likes of Busta Rhymes, P Diddy, Eminem, Mary J Blige, 50 Cent, Funkmaster Flex, and Jamie Foxx. Today, Rosenblum produces special events in New York and manages several DJs, a rapper and a pop group.
